Sugarloaf Food Company opened its doors in Summerland Key
in June 2006. Owner, Anne Rodamer, had enjoyed
working in the food service industry for many years in the
Keys before starting her own business. She is a self-taught
baker and cook with plenty of delicious ideas about serving
food and sweets to Keys residents and tourists. Some of Anne’s
most famous dishes are listed on the regular
lunch menu. They
include Curry Chicken and the Meatloaf Sandwich.
Anne operates a small
catering business also and offers great ideas for
parties. Her Key Lime Pistachio cookies are a must. She bakes
a variety of cookies, cakes and muffins and also accepts
special orders for pies and cakes.
